The Challenge Of Project

The Law Students’ Society (LSS) of Olabisi Onabanjo University needed a comprehensive digital platform that could effectively represent over 800 vibrant law students while showcasing their mission to supplement legal education and build visionary legal professionals. The challenge was to create a website that would serve multiple functions: providing legal support and student assistance, facilitating academic programs like moots and debates, showcasing international recognition, and establishing their voice in justice advocacy. The platform needed to balance academic professionalism with the dynamic energy of student leadership while demonstrating their commitment to “fearless advocacy” and justice reform.

Mobile Optimization
Recognizing that law students frequently access academic resources, legal information, and society updates while studying, traveling, or between classes, the OOULSS website was thoroughly optimized for seamless mobile functionality. The responsive design ensures effortless navigation through legal aid resources, event information, career development opportunities, and contact details across smartphones, tablets, and desktops. This mobile-first approach allows students to quickly access legal support services, stay updated on moot competitions and academic events, and connect with society leadership anytime they need assistance or information.

Clear Call-to-Actions (CTAs)

Strategic CTAs guide visitors toward meaningful engagement with LSS services and programs. From prominent “Legal Support & Student Assistance” prompts to clear contact information (pro@ooulss.com, contact@ooulss.com), each CTA is designed to facilitate immediate access to help and resources. The platform emphasizes their comprehensive service areas including advocacy training, career development, publications, and impact projects, with clear pathways for students to engage with mentorship programs, internship opportunities, and practical workshops that supplement their legal education.

OOU Law Students Society, we developed a comprehensive academic and advocacy platform that showcases their exceptional achievements and comprehensive student support system. The website prominently features their international recognition, including qualification as Nigeria’s representative (from 70+ African schools) for the prestigious Annual Nuremberg Moot Court Competition on International Criminal Law in Germany. The platform highlights their four core service pillars: Legal Support & Student Assistance, Advocacy & Legal Training (moots, mocks, debates, workshops), Career Development & Mentorship (internships, excursions, skill-building), and Publications & Legal Writing. Advanced features include faculty leadership profiles, inspiring presidential messaging from Success Ayodeji Fadipe emphasizing that “this generation of law students are not waiting to wear the wig and gown before shaping justice,” and comprehensive contact systems with clear office hours and multiple communication channels.
